How to Rent

Rental Process

Getting started is simple for renters and flight instructors.

  1. Check availability. View the calendar on each aircraft’s page for availability by tail number.

  2. Schedule a checkout. Contact us at 520-307-2802 to arrange your checkout flight.

  3. Sign our rental agreement. Review and sign our rental agreement before your first rental.

  4. Submit proof of insurance. Non-owned aircraft insurance is required before flying solo, with passengers, or with students. Email your current policy to info@windwalkeraz.com before your first rental.

  5. Complete your checkout. Fly with a qualified flight instructor in the aircraft you plan to rent. A separate checkout is required for each tail number.

  6. Book future flights. After checkout, text us directly (520-307-2802) to schedule rentals. You won’t need another checkout for that aircraft.

  7. Verify your reservation. Check the calendar to confirm the correct aircraft, date, and time.

For Flight Instructors

Independent CFIs are welcome to rent our aircraft for instruction.

  • You are responsible for finding your own students.

  • Complete a checkout for each aircraft tail number.

  • Verify that your CFI/non-owned aircraft insurance covers your students and the aircraft you rent.

  • Email your current policy to info@windwalkeraz.com before conducting instruction.

Renter’s Insurance

Renters and instructors must maintain appropriate non-owned aircraft insurance covering their intended use.

Recommended aircraft damage coverage:

  • Cessna 150: $40,000

  • Cessna 172: $100,000

Common providers include Avemco, SkyWatchAI, and Gallagher, though you may choose another provider. Be sure your policy provides the recommended aircraft damage coverage and covers your intended use.
